Products for Fajr Fest Iranian Film Market unveiled

Names of films and TV productions to be shown at Fajr Filmfest's 2017 Iranian International Market for Films and TV Programs have been announced.

The film market section will premiere 33 Iranian feature-length works with English subtitles. The idea is to give these selected films more international exposure. At least 20 distribution companies from 30 countries are in participation.

The screenings will include films such as: ‘Villa Residents’ by Monir Qeidi, ‘Midday Event’ by Mohammad Hossein Mahdavian, ‘Majan’ by Rahman Seifi Azad, ‘The Hot Summer’ by Ebrahim Irajzad, ‘21 Days Later’ by Mohammad Reza Kheradmandan, and ‘Aba Jan’ by Hatef Alimardani.

The Iranian Film Market (IFM) is one of the main sections of Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF), which is legally funded by Iran’s Cinema Organization.

The 20th Iranian International Market for Films and TV programs (IFM) will take place in Tehran on April 21-26, 2017.

The market is trying to create a platform for promotion and distribution of family, humane and moral concepts. To achieve so, IFM provides exclusive meeting and exchange opportunities for attending producers, distributors, exhibitors and sales agents of films and TV programs.
